The class listened to two types of music named 'Mars' and 'Venus', and had to 'feel' and sense the contrasting types of music by using materials on paper. The 'Mars' piece was very sharp, moody and strong and the 'Venus' piece was calm, serene and relaxing. We were then asked to create mood boards featuring images, samples and materials.
After choosing a more successful moodboard we were given the 'shirt' brief. This was where we had to take a shirt of any description and alter and decorate it in order to make something else, for example, a scarf, a sculpture, a hat or a bag.
